Job descriptionDesign Methodologies : DFMEA, DFM, DFA, GD&T, tolerance stack-up Manufacturing Processes : Plastic injection molding, die casting, tooling design, 3D printing Analysis Tools : Basic exposure to FEA and Multi-Body Dynamics (MBD) Industry Standards : ISO & ASME compliance in design processes Worked closely with cross-functional teams including simulation, tooling, manufacturing, and supply chain. Collaborated with vendors and suppliers to define specs and troubleshoot design / production issues. Strong in technical documentation , presentation, and stakeholder communication.
Key Expertise :
- Plastic Trim Design : Extensive experience in 3D / 2D design of complex plastic components , focusing on fit, finish, NVH , and durability .
- Advanced Surfacing : Skilled in surface modeling for both aesthetic and functional plastic parts in high-end automotive interiors and exteriors.
- Structural Systems : Involved in chassis frames, swing arms, and sub-component design , ensuring performance and reliability.
- NPD Involvement : Active contributor in New Product Development (NPD) cycles, from concept to production release.
- Component & System Design : Proficient in both individual part and integrated system design, ensuring manufacturability and assembly feasibility.
