Project Manager – Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with 6–8 years of experience in the advertising and marketing industry . The ideal candidate should be highly organised, proactive, and able to translate briefs into structured execution plans while ensuring smooth coordination across multiple teams. Candidates with prior Client Servicing / Account Management experience are also suitable, provided they have managed large cross-functional teams of 40–50 members and handled fast-paced delivery environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Management
- Plan, manage, and oversee project workflows from initiation to final delivery.
- Ensure all tasks and deliverables meet defined timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
- Maintain documentation, project logs, and status reports across the project lifecycle.
- Oversee logistics coordination, planning, and management to support smooth project execution.
2. Timeline & Schedule Management
Create and maintain detailed project timelines, milestones, and schedules.Continuously monitor progress and ensure adherence to deadlines.Implement corrective actions in case of any delays, scope shifts, or unforeseen challenges.3. Team Collaboration & Stakeholder Coordination
Work closely with creative, strategy, content, operations, media, and technical teams to translate project briefs into actionable work plans.Conduct daily / weekly checkpoints to track status, clarify expectations, and resolve roadblocks.Ensure seamless internal communication and alignment across all project stakeholders.Encourage adherence to organizational workflows and delivery standards.4. Resource Allocation & Workload Planning
Prioritize projects based on urgency, complexity, and business objectives.Allocate tasks efficiently to optimize team productivity and turnaround times.Assess capacity constraints and highlight resource requirements or hiring needs when necessary.5. Quality Assurance
Review deliverables for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with brand, creative, and technical benchmarks.Provide clear, structured feedback to ensure revisions are completed before client or internal approvals.Maintain consistency and quality across all output formats.6. Task Tracking & Reporting
Facilitate and drive adoption of task management tools / systems.Maintain up-to-date trackers and dashboards for transparency and accountability.Share structured weekly / monthly reports with leadership where required.Oversee internal reporting at regular intervals and maintain internal MIS for project-related metrics.7. Issue & Risk Management
Monitor project execution to identify risks related to timeline, scope, or resource constraints.Proactively flag issues and drive solutions with relevant stakeholders.Ensure final output meets defined expectations and is delivered without escalations.8. Billing & Documentation Management
Manage billing and invoicing to clients , ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.Oversee documentation management , including compilation and submission of documents for tenders.
