Job Title : Product Owner (Equity-Based Role)

Startup : NPPD Care

Location : Remote | Part-Time | Equity-Based

Commitment : 20–25 hours per week

NPPD Care is building a holistic wellness and healthcare innovation platform that goes far beyond fitness and nutrition — addressing all 12 dimensions of wellness including emotional, social, financial, occupational, spiritual, environmental, and intellectual wellbeing.

Our mission is to bridge healthcare, wellness, and technology to help individuals, corporates, and communities achieve measurable, sustainable wellbeing outcomes. We're currently entering the launch phase , having developed our prototype, wellness audit models, and pilot partnerships with hospitals and wellness partners.

This is a core equity-based opportunity to join our founding team and co-build the product vision that defines the future of wellness innovation.

Role Overview

As a Product Owner , you will take complete ownership of the product journey — from concept to delivery and scale . You'll work closely with the founding team, healthcare consultants, wellness experts, and tech developers to shape a user-centric wellness ecosystem combining digital solutions, service delivery, and product innovation.

You will be responsible for aligning the business vision with product execution , ensuring the product meets user needs, achieves clinical and wellness outcomes, and drives organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

Define and own the end-to-end product roadmap, aligning business, design, and technology priorities.
Translate the company's wellness and healthcare goals into scalable digital and service products.
Collaborate with UI / UX, tech, and wellness teams to develop prototypes, MVPs, and feature iterations.
Conduct market and user research to identify opportunities and validate problem-solution fit.
Develop product requirement documents (PRDs) and maintain a clear backlog for development.
Lead data-driven decision-making by tracking engagement, usage, and conversion metrics.
Work closely with the founder and investor relations team to align product progress with funding strategy.
Drive innovation partnerships with hospitals, wellness centers, and R&D institutions.

Ideal Candidate Profile

5+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, or startup building, preferably in healthtech, wellness, or SaaS.

Strong understanding of healthcare delivery models, wellness frameworks, or consumer tech platforms.

Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver under startup conditions.

Excellent communication and analytical skills, with a bias for execution.

Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for wellness innovation and social impact.

Compensation & Equity Structure

This is a purely equity-based role during the pre-funding stage.

The equity process includes :

3–4 rounds of discussions to define ownership areas

1-month NDA cohort for alignment and working understanding

Cofounder Agreement post cohort

Formal equity allotment after funding and Pvt. Ltd. registration (5-year vesting period)

Cash compensation will begin after successful funding.
