We're building something audacious, something global, in next tech at Mai Labs : a new digital infrastructure layer, an internet architectural rail that puts users, builders, creators and developers first. Our mission? To distribute participatory power to billions of people in the digital economy.

What this actually means : We have built our own L1 blockchain, and a backend technical structure for protocols and ecosystem to make digital infrastructure efficient, secure and more accessible. Our global products and tools are natively built for web 3.0 world. You will work with teams working on tech products across blockchain, and distributed systems – for a real-world problem solving.

We're taking on established paths and conventional wisdom about how the Tech and Internet should work. Underlying principle is to solve the hard problem of protecting user rights, digital intellectual property rights and protection of assets in an age of AI and instant replication.

About the role :

We’re looking for a UI / UX Design Lead who can bridge design strategy, user empathy, and product vision in a tech-first environment. You’ll lead the design direction across products built on blockchain infrastructure—spanning wallets, dashboards, data tools, and Dapps. The role demands a deep understanding of user behaviour in decentralized ecosystems, coupled with strong design systems thinking and the ability to inspire and mentor other designers.

What will you get to do?

Lead and define end-to-end design strategy and user experience across Web3 products, digital platforms & websites.

Translate complex blockchain concepts into intuitive, human-centered designs that drive adoption and engagement.

Conduct user research to uncover user journeys, pain points, and behavioural insights, informing design decisions.

Build and maintain scalable design systems aligned with brand, accessibility, and product standards.

Collaborate with product, tech, and engineering teams to deliver seamless, high-quality user experiences.

Mentor and guide designers to ensure design consistency, innovation, and excellence across the ecosystem.

Proactively manage multiple stakeholders while balancing user needs and business objectives.

Leverage AI tools and workflows throughout the design lifecycle to accelerate delivery and enhance design quality and efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications :

6+ years of hands-on experience in UI / UX and product design, with proven leadership in driving design strategy, execution, and end-to-end delivery—from ideation to go-live.

Portfolio showcasing strong design craft, user flows, and system thinking across digital products-preferably in Web3, fintech, or other tech-driven environments.

Expert in Figma, Adobe XD, and prototyping tools (Framer, Webflow, Miro, etc.) with a solid understanding of design systems, visual styling, prototyping, and user experience flows.

Collaborates seamlessly with developers through strong front-end (HTML / CSS) knowledge; capable of managing websites end-to-end, including ongoing updates and enhancements.

Proactive in managing vendors, freelancers, and multiple stakeholders; leverages AI tools across the design lifecycle to deliver faster, higher-quality outputs.

Hiring Process : 3-4 rounds of interviews with Function, HR & Senior leaders.
