Job description5+ years hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca (Tosca Commander, TBox, module creation and test-case design). Practical experience automating UI and API tests; familiarity with SOAP / REST and validating via SQL / DB checks. Experience integrating automation with CI / CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control (Git). Strong understanding of Test Automation best practices, reusable frameworks, and test data management. Good communication skills, experience working in Agile / Scrum teams, and ability to work on-site in India. Exposure to additional test tools (Micro Focus UFT, Selenium) or scripting (VBScript / C# / Java) for custom extensions. Experience with test management tools (HP ALM, Jira) and reporting dashboards for stakeholders.
Primary Job Title : Tosca Automation Engineer
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain end-to-end automated test suites using Tricentis Tosca (Tosca Commander & TBox) for web, desktop and API test scenarios.
- Create reusable modules, business-impactful test cases, and data-driven scenarios to maximize coverage and reduce manual regression effort.
- Integrate Tosca automation into CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitLab) to enable automated execution, reporting and shift-left testing.
- Perform API testing (SOAP / REST), validate backend transactions with SQL, and ensure traceability between requirements and test artifacts.
- Collaborate with developers, QA leads and product owners in Agile teams to triage defects, optimize test strategies and enable fast, reliable releases.
- Own automation reliability : troubleshoot failures, implement robust error-handling, and tune test suites for stable execution in CI environments.
