Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Social Media Manager based in Kolkata. The Social Media Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of social media marketing efforts. Responsibilities include developing and implementing content strategies, managing social media accounts, analyzing engagement metrics, and ensuring consistent brand messaging. The role also involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance the organization’s digital presence and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies for multiple brands across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube).
- Create monthly content calendars and ensure timely execution.
- Ideate, plan, and oversee the creation of Reels, videos, and static creatives .
- Write engaging captions, hooks, and copy aligned with brand tone.
- Analyze performance data, optimize content, and ensure consistent growth.
- Stay updated with trends, memes, and platform updates to keep content relevant.
- Collaborate with the design, video, and marketing teams for seamless brand communication.
Qualifications
Proven expertise in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO)2–3 years of hands-on experience managing social media for brands or agencies.Proven experience in content strategy and creation (especially short-form video and visual storytelling).Strong understanding of platform algorithms and analytics tools.Excellent communication, copywriting, and creative thinking skills.Strong Communication and Writing skills for effective messaging and engagementExperience in developing and implementing effective Content StrategiesUnderstanding of social media analytics tools and engagement metricsAbility to adapt quickly to industry trends and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related fieldExperience working in the digital marketing or media industry is a plus
