Software Development Engineer I - React.js / Next.js

Job Overview :

We are looking for a motivated and talented Software Development Engineer I (SDE I) to join our frontend engineering team.

Youll work on building dynamic, high-performance web applications using modern technologies such as React.js and Next.js.

As part of a fast-paced and collaborative environment, youll contribute to product development from design through deployment, focusing on user experience, performance, and Responsibilities :

• Develop scalable and responsive web applications using React.js, Next.js, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Optimize web applications for server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) using Next.js for better SEO and performance.
• Implement and manage state management using Redux (or other modern tools like Zustand / Recoil).
• Translate UI / UX wireframes into high-quality, reusable, and component-based code.
• Ensure applications are fully responsive, cross-browser compatible, and optimized for mobile and desktop devices.
• Collaborate with backend developers to consume and integrate RESTful APIs and services.
• Write unit and integration tests for frontend components to ensure high code quality and reliability.
• Perform code reviews, participate in sprint planning, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze and resolve frontend performance bottlenecks and bugs for a smooth user & Qualifications :
• 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in frontend development with React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Strong grasp of modern frontend principles : responsive design, accessibility, component-driven architecture, and browser rendering behavior.
• Proficient with tools like Next.js, Webpack, Babel, and NPM / Yarn.
• Familiarity with frontend performance optimization, including lazy loading, code splitting, and bundling techniques.
• Understanding of RESTful API integration, HTTP protocols, and client-server interactions.
• Experience using Git for version control and working in an Agile / Scrum development process.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
