Senior Public Relations Manager

Location - Bengaluru

Experience : 7 years

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage multiple client accounts ensuring timely delivery of media advisories, coverage reports, and other deliverables.
  • Maintain adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute integrated communication plans that align with client objectives across traditional and digital platforms.
  • Guide clients through dynamic media environments and proactively manage reputational risks by identifying emerging trends and key influencers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key journalists and digital influencers relevant to the consumer industry.
  • Oversee media outreach, story placement, and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong, long-term relationships that foster trust and satisfaction.
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively offer solutions.
  • Work closely with Account Directors to identify and convert new business opportunities.
  • Motivate and mentor junior team members, providing constructive feedback and supporting professional growth.
  • Stay ahead of upcoming news trends, industry developments, and consumer insights.
  • Guide the team in creating compelling media pitches and securing impactful placements.
  • Partner with colleagues across departments and practices to deliver integrated solutions and drive business results.
  • Support a healthy work environment through regular feedback, recognition, and continuous learning initiatives.

Candidate Requirements :

Education : Masters / Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or related field

Experience : Minimum of 7 years in PR, with proven success in managing consumer brand accounts.

Skills :

  • Strong media relations and network within the consumer sector.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strategic thinking with executional excellence.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders under tight deadlines.
  • Team leadership and mentoring experience.
  • Understanding of digital and social media trends is a plus.
