The Role

Infrastructure Cloud Lead / SRE are the key link between Kyndryl and our clients. You're in a technical leadership role, uniting and guiding stakeholders from clients, governance, and project executives to delivery and sometimes even the vendors who work with the client. You'll be there from the start of a project — understanding what's needed and figuring out the best technical solution. And you'll be there at the finish, delivering the right product on time and within budget.

As an Infrastructure Cloud Lead / SRE, you'll draw upon the full breadth of your talent and experience. This is a technical leadership role, so we want you to bring your vision, knowledge, and leadership to each project. To the client, you're the subject matter expert – consulting early, gathering inputs, understanding what they need from our solution. You define what Kyndryl can do to meet this solution. You design the best solution for the job. And finally, you're the tech leader for implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable AWS cloud solutions.
• Provide advanced support and troubleshooting for AWS related issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize applications for the cloud.
• Implement and manage automation processes using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor and maintain the performance, security, and availability of cloud infrastructure.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with best practices and security standards.
• Experience in DevSecOps implementation projects as SRE / lead (designing DevOps solutions, setting up CI / CD pipelines, infra-automation, monitoring tools etc.).
• Source Code Management, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery using tools like AWS DevOps, Terraform, Jenkins, Chef etc.,
• Setup / configure CI / CD pipeline leveraging AWS native services or traditional DevOps tools (e.g. Terraform, Chef, Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory.
• Expertise in Kubernetes (EKS), Docker and Container Orchestration.
• Experience in deploying EKS Clusters & AWS Topologies.
• Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure, inventory and processes.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24 / 7 support for critical issues.
• Develop the automation using CloudFormation, PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible. Identify the opportunity and deploy in client environment
• Documentation (CEQ, ASD, SOP), Reverse KT and BAU team onboarding
• Provide EXIT CHECKLIST sign-off on completion of transition activities to BAU team.
• Project specific tasks on completion to have documentation (ASD, Architecture) and SOP
• Participation on SEV12 Incidents, Problems & Changes
• Train L3 on respective SME area
• Assist the BAU team with the RCA for Problem records.
• Approve vendor level escalations and assist the L3 or L2 Engineers with incident resolution and closure.
