About the Role :

Join our Business Intelligence and Analytics team in Kolkata! We're seeking a skilled

Tableau Developer

with

3-6 years of experience

to transform complex operational and customer data from the electricity distribution sector into powerful, actionable insights. If you're passionate about data visualization and making a tangible impact on strategic decisions, this is the role for you.

What You'll Do :

Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and create effective visualizations.

Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.

Partner with data engineering teams to ensure data quality and performance.

Support key business areas like regulatory reporting, load forecasting, outage analysis, and energy consumption insights.

Optimize Tableau workbooks for performance and user experience.

Document processes, data sources, and business rules.

Empower business users through training on Tableau.

What You Bring : 3-6 years

of hands-on experience in Tableau development and BI / BA roles.

Strong proficiency in

SQL , data modeling, and ETL concepts.

Experience working with

utility / energy sector data

(meter readings, billing, load curves, outages) is highly desirable.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

Ability to translate complex data into clear, business-friendly insights.

Familiarity with data warehouses, cloud platforms (AWS / Azure), and Excel.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred :

Knowledge of electricity distribution KPIs and regulatory frameworks.

Tableau certification (e.g., Tableau Desktop Certified Associate).
