Overview
We’re looking for a
strategic, tech-savvy, and hands-on PR leader
to build and lead Testlify’s global communications engine from the ground up. This is a
zero-to-one leadership role
for a professional who can amplify our brand across
North America , secure high-impact media coverage, and position our founders and platform as thought leaders in the global HR tech and talent assessment space.
You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how the world perceives
Testlify - an AI-driven assessment platform transforming how enterprises hire with precision, efficiency, and fairness.
You’ll set the communications foundation for a
fast-scaling HR tech company already partnering with leading ATS and enterprise clients , working directly with leadership to build a modern, measurable, and high-impact PR function.
The ideal candidate is both a
storyteller and operator
Key Responsibilities
Build the PR function
from the ground up -
frameworks, budgets, tools, and KPIs for all communications and media activities.
Lead a
North America-focused PR strategy , securing consistent coverage in top-tier business, HR, and technology publications (Forbes, TechCrunch, Fast Company, SHRM, HR Executive, etc.).
Position Testlify’s founders and leadership
as global thought leaders through interviews, expert commentary, and contributed articles.
Secure speaking opportunities
at high-impact industry events, panels, and podcasts that reach enterprise HR decision-makers.
Collaborate with
Product Marketing and Growth
teams to amplify new assessment launches, feature updates, and partnerships with compelling narratives.
Lead co-marketing and partnership PR
with ATS, HR tech, and L&D ecosystem partners through joint press releases, webinars, and case studies.
Build and manage
analyst relations
Create a
data-driven content strategy
for press releases, media kits, founder thought-leadership, and ROI-focused case studies aligned with brand voice and SEO goals.
Manage and optimize the PR tech stack and CRM tools
(HubSpot, Apollo, or similar) to segment and nurture media, analyst, and enterprise contact lists.
Roll out email-based outreach campaigns
to journalists, analysts, partners, and enterprise prospects - from copywriting to analytics.
Leverage
automation, A / B testing, and campaign metrics
to continuously improve outreach performance.
Integrate PR and marketing workflows so press coverage, quotes, and stories become active
sales enablement assets
within the enterprise funnel.
Track PR performance in CRM systems to directly
link visibility, mentions, and coverage to enterprise pipeline and revenue outcomes.
Manage PR budgets and tools strategically - prioritizing
organic growth
with selective spend on events, tools, and distribution (e.g., GlobalNewswire).
Continuously develop Testlify’s
media kit, brand narrative, and press center
to ensure consistency and authority.
Commercial & Growth Impact
Align PR outcomes tightly with Testlify’s
revenue, enterprise acquisition, and market leadership goals.
Collaborate with
Sales and Partnerships
to identify opportunities where PR and analyst coverage can accelerate
deal velocity and logo acquisition.
Develop
data-backed case studies
and customer success stories that double as both PR assets and enterprise sales tools.
Track measurable KPIs - share of voice, enterprise mentions, analyst citations, inbound leads influenced, and brand authority growth.
Leverage CRM and campaign analytics to attribute
PR-driven visibility to pipeline creation and enterprise growth.
Within six months, success means
Testlify’s story is consistently featured in key HR tech media
and
PR-attributed enterprise leads are measurable in CRM reporting.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
4+ years of experience
in Public Relations or Communications, ideally in SaaS, HR tech, or B2B enterprise environments.
Proven success in
building PR programs from scratch
Strong experience in
CRM- and automation-led outreach
(HubSpot, Pipedrive, Apollo, or equivalent).
Demonstrated track record in
earning organic media coverage
across North America.
Deep understanding of
digital PR, SEO, analytics tools
(Muck Rack, Cision, Meltwater).
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with precision and adaptability.
Experience managing
analyst relations, product communications, and co-marketing initiatives.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Reporting & Department Structure
This role reports directly to the
CEO
with a dotted-line collaboration with the
Head of Marketing.
PR & Communications will function as an
independent department , closely aligned with Marketing, Partnerships, and Product to ensure a unified brand narrative across all audiences.
