The Role :

  • Understand detailed requirements for upgrading existing networks, as well as re-architecting network segments to facilitate new requirements, technologies and growth.
  • Resolve network communications and operations problems impacting customer or backbone access and performance globally.
  • Participate in telecommunications-related initiatives.
  • Research and develop innovative solutions around unified network solutions.
  • Supports assigned regional projects, which include responsibility for planning; time and cost control; resource utilization and implementation.
  • Support for troubleshooting issue, identify issues and assist stakeholders in timely resolution of same.
  • Plan and Assist installation of Data Center infrastructure to support present and future Data Center requirements
  • Assist maintaining up to date documentation for Data Center Engineering function

Requirements

Must Have Skills :

  • Networking, including LAN / WAN, Firewalls, wireless and Security technologies.
  • Experience with TCP / IP protocol communications.
  • In-depth knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, VPN, F5 Load balancers, proxies, TCP / IP, and related technologies.
  • Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP / IP, BGP, OSPF, IPSec, SSL, NAT).
  • Experience with cloud-native and hybrid network security solutions.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing site-to-site VPNs and cloud interconnects.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.
  • Advanced experience with network monitoring
  • Experience in SD-WAN deployment and support, with a focus on Palo alto
