About the Role

We are seeking a Platform Engineering Lead / Architect to lead the design and implementation of our internal developer platforms. This role will drive platform strategy, architecture, and best practices to enable scalable, secure, and efficient software delivery across our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and oversee the development of cloud-native platforms (Kubernetes, CI / CD, IaC, observability, security, etc.).
  • Define platform standards, patterns, and reusable components for infrastructure, automation, and developer experience.
  • Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies, tools, and practices to continuously improve platform capabilities.
  • Lead platform modernization, migration, and transformation initiatives.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and platforms, assess their suitability for present use-cases and technical requirements, and present clear recommendations.
  • Conduct technical assessments, proof-of-concepts, and comparative analyses to support informed decision-making and successful adoption.
  • Ensure compliance, governance, and security across all platform services.
  • Mentor and guide platform engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Develop and maintain platform documentation, onboarding guides, and self-service tools.

Qualifications

  • 9+ years in DevOps, or platform engineering roles.

    • Required Skills

  • Deep expertise in cloud platforms (Azure mainly), Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with IDP and orchestration tools (like Backstage, Kratix etc.).
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing CI / CD pipelines and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with observability, monitoring, and logging tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Solid understanding of security, compliance, and governance in cloud environments.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience mentoring and leading technical teams.
