Maintenance Engineer – CAT Gas Engine Generators (Oman)

We are seeking an experienced

Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical)

with solid expertise in the

installation, operation, and maintenance of CAT Gas Engine Generators

to join our team in Oman.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation & maintenance (O&M) of CAT gas engines.

Overhaul and repair

CAT 3516 gas engines

and related equipment.

Ensure consistent reliability and performance of gas engine power plant operations.

Maintain accurate maintenance documentation following OEM standards and best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E. Mechanical)

Vehicle Maintenance Engineer

10–12 years

of hands-on experience in installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CAT gas engine generators.

CATERPILLAR Trained & Certified (Gas Engine) In Big Garage

Mandatory

Proven experience working with

CAT 3516 gas engines

Preferred Candidate Profile

Strong technical and analytical problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently under minimal supervision.
