We are seeking a proactive Engineer Instrumentation to be responsible for all instrumentation activities, from preparing BOMs and selecting components to supporting equipment qualification. The ideal candidate will also be involved in research and development activities, applying research theories and principles to conduct experiments and communicate findings to various stakeholders. This role requires a hands-on engineer with a solid understanding of the product lifecycle and a commitment to ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
Main Responsibilities & Tasks
- Ensure the timely release of instrumentation deliverables, including BOMs , NT MCL , and electrical documents.
- Apply knowledge of Good Wiring Practices and cable selection according to global safety standards.
- Support efforts to verify and validate new product designs.
- Perform installation, integration, and commissioning of control cabinets at customer sites.
- Apply design to cost and design for manufacturability methods to help project leaders achieve project objectives.
- Contribute as a team member on development projects, carrying out assigned responsibilities in a timely and professional manner.
- Document data and patentable ideas resulting from experimentation and concept generation to support the organization's intellectual property strategy.
- Ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally friendly workplace by following company procedures and regulations.
Qualifications
Academic degree in Engineering , preferably in Electrical or Instrumentation .Proven relevant experience in product selection and development.Experience working with ISO requirements and other relevant guidelines and regulations.Skills
Strong aptitude for hands-on engineering testing .Disciplined and well-organized in documentation (plans, requirements, and test methods).The ability to identify, break down, and solve a variety of difficult technical problems.Knowledge of statistical methods and analysis .A team player with good communication skills .Solid understanding of the product lifecycle .Skills Required
