TEKLA CHECKER

Job Summary (List Format) :

• Review and verify construction drawings and Tekla models for accuracy and compliance with codes and project standards.
• Conduct quality checks on Tekla models and drawings ensuring correct dimensions materials welding symbols and connection details for structural steel components.
• Mark up drawings from detailers for engineering review and ensure precision in all detailing work.
• Collaborate with design detailing teams in-house engineers and external detailers to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Participate in quality assurance (QA) activities and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
• Utilize advanced knowledge of structural steel detailing construction practices and steel connection design.
• Apply proficiency in Tekla Structures software with preference for experience in Trimble Connect Navisworks and CAD software.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail analytical problem-solving communication and teamwork skills.
• Leverage understanding of fabrication and erection processes for both onshore and offshore structural steel projects.
• Employ knowledge of AISC / AWS standards and practices with the ability to use advanced Tekla features (macros automation scripting) considered an asset.
