Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Technical Sales Engineer (Automation) .
The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships , identifying automation opportunities , and promoting Dymaxa’s products and solutions . The role involves close coordination with the design and project teams to prepare technical proposals, quotations, and BOMs that meet client requirements.
The ideal candidate should have both technical knowledge of automation systems and strong communication and negotiation skills to bridge the gap between engineering and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial automation and control systems .
- Understand client requirements and propose suitable technical solutions .
- Prepare and present technical quotations, BOMs, and project proposals .
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions with customers.
- Coordinate with internal design and project teams to ensure accurate and timely project delivery.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall company growth.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and new technologies .
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering or related field.1–4 years of experience in technical sales, business development , or application engineering (preferably in automation / control systems).Good understanding of PLC, HMI, VFD, sensors, control panels , and related products.Ability to interpret electrical and automation drawings .Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills .Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.Self-motivated, target-oriented, and customer-focused mindset.
