Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and create targeted training programs.
- Design and develop interactive training materials, including presentations, workshops, case studies, and simulations.
- Prepare and maintain training documentation such as course outlines, participant manuals, and evaluation resources.
- Deliver impactful soft skills training sessions on communication (written and verbal), interpersonal skills, teamwork, leadership, presentations, decision-making, conflict resolution, time management, and emotional intelligence.
- Facilitate engaging learning experiences using group discussions, role-playing, and real-life scenarios.
- Adapt training methods to suit varied learning styles and participant preferences.
- Evaluate training effectiveness by tracking outcomes and analyzing participant feedback.
- Enhance training programs continuously based on feedback, performance data, and evolving business objectives.
- Assist in managing Learning and Development (L&D) projects, including budgeting, logistics, and vendor coordination.
- Stay updated on trends and best practices in soft skills training and Learning and Development (L&D).
Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business, or a related field.4-7 years of experience as a Soft Skills Trainer, preferably in an Information Technology (IT) corporate environment.Proven ability to design and deliver engaging and effective training programs.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong presentation and interpersonal abilities.Skilled in group facilitation and managing dynamic group settings.Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional methodologies.Familiarity with basic L&D project management concepts.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments.Highly organized, with effective time-management skills.Comfortable working in fast-paced and evolving environments.Certifications in instructional design, adult education, or soft skills training methodologies.Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS).Exposure to technology-oriented work settings.
