Description

As a Principal Infrastructure Administrator 2 on the Skyworks IT team, you will play a key role in supporting and executing the company’s corporate IT strategy. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure the reliability and performance of critical systems that empower business units to operate efficiently and achieve their strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

The technical responsibilities of this role fall into several key areas :

• Ticket Management :  Responding to and resolving support tickets submitted through our internal ticketing system.
• Infrastructure Support :  Maintaining and supporting our Skyworks on-premises virtual environment, including storage and backup solutions.
• Vendor Collaboration :  Engaging with external vendors to troubleshoot and implement solutions for break-fix scenarios.

In this role, you will work closely with your immediate team as well as cross-functional teams within Skyworks to facilitate efficient issue resolution. Strong communication skills are essential to ensure that issues are addressed promptly and effectively.

Required Experience and Skills

Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to) :

Active Directory : Perform basic administration and support of Microsoft Active Directory services.

Patch Management & System Updates : Apply firmware, OS, and application updates across infrastructure systems to maintain security and performance.
