Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees in Canada and the U.S., ensuring t imely and accurate compensation.
Calculate and validate payroll data including hours worked, deductions, taxes, benefits, and special payments such as bonuses and commissions.
Ensure compliance with federal, state / provincial, and local payroll regulations, including U.S. legislation (W-2, W-4, 1099) and Canadian tax requirements (T4, TD1).
Process and administer garnishments, levies, and other complex payroll deductions in accordance with legal requirements.
Conduct regular salary benchmarking and compensation analysis to support HR and finance teams with data-driven recommendations.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure accurate employee data and seamless payroll integration.
Support audits and compliance checks by maintaining accurate payroll records and documentation.
Generate payroll reports and dashboards to support internal stakeholders with financial and operational insights.
Stay current on payroll best practices, legislation changes, and industry trends to ensure continuous process improvement.
