FA&A Reporting Analyst / BI Developer

Job descriptionUtilizing your project management skills to partner with stakeholders to gather, coordinate, and communicate Finance digital reporting requirements, and identifying opportunities for improvement when necessary. Creating detailed Functional Design documents (FD’s) to ensure proper report development. Actively engaging BI / BW developers globally, and leveraging your own PowerBI expertise, to create and enhance reporting solutions. Engaging with cross-functional areas including FP&A, Treasury, Controllers, Business Finance, Enterprise Supply Chain, and IT across global locations. Collaborating with project teams in customizing, integrating, and extending Power BI and reporting technologies. Effectively training and supporting end-users on automated solutions and reporting tools. Providing ongoing user ticket resolution to ensure reporting solutions continue to function as needed. Identifying and driving optimization for process improvement and resource efficiency. Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution Three (3) years of experience in Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Data Analytics, or Reporting & Analytics in a private, public, government or military environment Degree in Finance, Accounting or Related Field Working towards an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus. Strong understanding of Finance & Accounting practices and policies Ability to translate and articulate business needs into tangible, data-based solutions Understanding of Finance (RTR) datasets, sources, and security models Knowledge of Project Management, Scrum methodology, and Agile principles Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx), scripting languages (e.g., DAX, VBA), data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Webi), and data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, HANA) Experience with SQL and working knowledge of query and data warehouse design Requires the ability to communicate in written and spoken English Experience contributing on cross-functional teams
Job Summary
- The person hired for the position of Reporting Analyst / BI Developer will be responsible for report development across all areas of Finance, utilizing their project management and BI developer skills, and work closely with BI and BW teams along with end user clients to create reports for Business Transformation.
