Job descriptionBackground or interest in public policy, economics, sociology, law, education, AI, and society (students and early professionals welcome). Strong writing and synthesis skills; proficiency in Google Docs / Sheets. Bonus : R, Python, or STATA; fieldwork experience; proficiency in an Indian language aside from English. A curiosity about equity, especially valuing perspectives from marginalized communities. Certificate of Contribution with potential Letter of Recommendation. Named credit; authorship on select outputs meeting contribution thresholds. Mentorship, weekly check-ins, and access to our research templates / toolkits.
Job Opportunity : AI Research
We are seeking a research volunteer to advance Awareness, Readiness & Ethics in AI. The project focuses on the rapid AI adoption and its impact on work and social mobility across regions and communities.
- Conduct literature reviews and create concise evidence reports.
- Help design surveys and interview guides; assist in data collection remotely.
- Analyse findings and draft policy briefs and research notes.
- Map sectoral use cases for law, education, health, gig work, public services, and more.
- Ethics will be upheld with consent and privacy maintained through tidy documentation.
