Roles and Responsibilities
As part of the R&D team, the candidate should be able to perform following (but not limited to) duties to support the team’s goals :
Own the complete multilayer PCB design cycle from concept to production release
Import mechanical outlines (DXF / EMN / EMP), define constraints, and perform precise component placement as per schematic and layout guidelines
Execute PCB routing , focusing on signal integrity, EMI / EMC, and manufacturability
Generate and validate Gerber outputs, ensuring conformance with BTL’s in-house manufacturing guidelines
Create and maintain CAD libraries (symbols and footprints) aligned with IPC standards and BTL guidelines.
Collaborate with hardware engineers for layout reviews and constraint management
Work closely with the MCAD team to ensure mechanical compatibility and integration
Ensure adherence to DFM / DFT / DFA guidelines and BOM optimization
Handle project deliverables independently , managing timelines and quality checkpoints
Support documentation, version control , and release workflows using BTL’s internal systems
Contribute to process improvements , share layout best practices, and help evolve internal checklists and guidelines.
