Job description

Job Title : Bookkeeper

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and expense tracking.
  • Manage invoices, payments, and receipts in Zoho Books or QuickBooks.
  • Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports for management review.
  • Assist with budgeting, cash flow management, and expense analysis.
  • Coordinate with accountants or auditors during month-end and year-end closing.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Proficiency in Zoho Books and / or QuickBooks (online or desktop versions).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and bookkeeping best practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
