Job description

As a Full-Stack Developer, you will design, implement, and maintain critical features spanning user interfaces, API endpoints, database schemas, and deployment pipelines. You will collaborate with product, design, quant, and other teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that power Flameback’s core workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Frontend Development :  Build responsive, accessible UIs using  ReactJS  or  VueJS  with TypeScript and CSS frameworks.
  • Backend Development :  Implement RESTful and WebSocket APIs with  Python 3 ,  Django , and  DRF .
  • Data Modeling :  Design and optimize relational schemas in  PostgreSQL  and caching strategies with  Redis .
  • Integration :  Develop and maintain REST / WebSocket / TCP-Socket based integrations with third-party vendors.
  • Asynchronous Workflows :  Implement background jobs and long-running background processes.
  • Testing & Quality :  Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (pytest, Jest / Cypress) to ensure reliability.
  • DevOps Collaboration :  Help define CI / CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Terraform), containerize services (Docker), and support auto-scaling in AWS ECS / Fargate or VM environments.
  • Performance & Monitoring :  Profile critical paths, tune database queries, and instrument metrics / logging for observability.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years  of professional software development experience.
  • Front-end :  Proficient with React or Vue, TypeScript, component-driven design, and charting libraries.
  • Back-end :  Strong expertise in Python / Django, DRF, relational database design, and caching (Redis).
  • APIs & Integration :  Experience building and securing REST / WebSocket services, working with 3rd-party APIs.
  • Testing :  Hands-on with pytest, Jest, Cypress, or equivalent frameworks for test automation.
  • DevOps :  Familiarity with Docker, container environments (ECS / Fargate), CI / CD workflows, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Data Workflows :  Knowledge of Celery or equivalent task queue systems for background processing.

    • Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Time-Series databases (TimescaleDB) and ML tooling (scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
  • Prior work in fintech or trading platforms, understanding of backtests, P&L, and risk metrics.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes (bonus) or other orchestration tools.
  • Exposure to mobile-responsive / PWA development.

  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills and aptitude for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Agile mindset : comfortable with rapid iteration and changing priorities.
