As Sr. AWS Developer , you will be responsible for the management and delivery of AWS changes Amazon Connect platform with 4000+ users. You will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the platform, working closely with leaders, business units, and subject matter experts to identify, configure, and deploy new business processes. This includes, but is not limited to : sales, support, marketing and corporate.
You will implement modern data, cloud, and integration solutions that are tied directly to business results and in-turn will help drive the modernization strategies across Canada Life through strong partnerships. You work hard to stay on top of fast changing technology and invest a lot of energy to learn new platform features.
As Sr. AWS Developer, you will also have a deep understanding and grasp for executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our platform.
Essential Functions :
- Manage and Deliver configurations based on specifications to meet product requirements
- Collaborate with our architects and analysts to configure and integrate components and third-party products, tools and solutions with the platform
- Identify and recommend solutions for application defects, determining root causes and minimizing the introduction of new defects
- Perform unit testing, code and configuration management activities, system development and providing guidance to team members
- Perform analysis, design, configuration, and implementation support for our platform
- Troubleshoot platform issues and drive exploration of options, recommending solutions and / or preparing discussion for escalation
- Study and implement new Amazon Connect features and capabilities in support of evolving business needs
- Identify and incorporate new user flows within the platform to optimize functionality
- You will be an influencer, feel comfortable presenting ideas and challenging status quo with new ways to improve through ever increasing levels of automation and efficiency.
Qualifications : :
Post-secondary degree / diploma in business or computer science or an equivalent combination of training and experience.EXPERIENCE :
7 years experience delivering software, integration or platform engineering solutions following a SDLCDemonstrated experience using engineering practices to meet and measure functional and non-functional requirements as well as comply with security standardsExpertise technical AWS experience building solutions in Amazon ConnectExperience in AWS Amazon Connect, IAM, S3, Lamda, EC2, Cloudwatch, Cloudtrail, and DynamoProven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoptionSolid understanding of at least one the following :1. Integrations and an understanding of APIs
2. Deployment tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and other CICD tools
