The Role

We are seeking dynamic and results-driven professionals to join our Business Development team focused on Trade Credit Insurance. The role involves identifying, soliciting, and acquiring large corporate accounts for trade credit solutions. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in driving strategic client acquisitions, fostering relationships with key decision-makers, and achieving revenue targets through value-driven insurance advisory.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Drive acquisition of large and mid-size corporate clients for trade credit insurance solutions.
  • Understand client requirements around credit, loans, working capital, and trade finance, and tailor insurance offerings accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including CFOs, Risk Managers, and Treasurers.
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals, negotiate terms, and close high-value deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and underwriters to structure solutions aligned with client needs.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of trade credit products, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery for acquired clients.

Ideal Profile

Experience Required :

  • 5–10 years of proven experience in corporate sales, preferably in the Banking or Financial Services Industry
  • Exposure to trade credit, loans, working capital management, and trade finance is essential
  • Skills Required :

  • Strong corporate sales acumen with ability to handle long sales cycles and high-value deals
  • Experience in B2B client engagement, solution selling, and account management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to understand financial products and align them with insurance solutions
  • Strong network and understanding of the banking, credit, and financial ecosystem
