Job Description – Database Lead

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead with strong expertise in SQL and database management.

• Lead and manage a team of 10+ resources to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Work with large datasets, writing efficient SQL queries for data manipulation, transformation, and reporting.
• Perform query optimization and performance tuning using Explain Plan, SQL Trace, TKPROF, and AWR reports.
• Participate in requirement gathering, impact analysis, and technical design discussions with stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to RDBMS concepts, indexing, partitioning, and data modeling best practices.
• Collaborate closely with business users, DBAs, developers, and testers to build scalable database solutions.
• Hands-on experience with PL / SQL and strong technical documentation skills.
• Familiarity with MIS reporting requirements and life insurance life cycle is essential.
• Document technical designs, data flows, and process logic for long-term support and maintenance.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience, including at least 1 year in the life insurance domain.
