Job Overview :
We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our team at Revalsys Technologies.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our server infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and maintain Windows / Linux Server(s) with 1-3 years of experience or demonstrated understanding
- Knowledge of computer hardware & networking, operating system installation and troubleshooting
- Network printer, antivirus installation & basic software installation
- User and service process management, monitoring
- DNS, FTP, Domain Controller, Active Directory and SSH knowledge
- Disk management, file permissions, and user and group administration
- Physical and virtual server and console management
- G-suite, Office 365, and Outlook configuration
- Server / website migrations
- Desktop PCs, servers, network equipment, and software applications knowledge
- Installation of operating systems, MS office, open office, Ubuntu OS, mail server and outlook configuration
- Troubleshooting internet / mail server / web servers / ubuntu OS / proxy / open office / printer configuration
- Effective trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
- Overseeing system performance and troubleshooting issues
- Creating backup and safeguarding data in case of hindrances
- Monitoring and maintaining network servers such as file servers
- Troubleshoot and resolve Active Directory, GPO, Active Directory Federated Services, and password / identity management systems
- Directory Services Infrastructure knowledge in Web Hosting - IIS, Apache, Nginx, Control Panels like cPanel, Plesk, and Direct Admin
- Server tweaking, hardening and vulnerability fixes knowledge
- Disaster Recovery Procedures, Spamming, DDoS, and Hacking Issues knowledge
- Good team player able to work independently in shifts to provide customer support
- Cloud services like Azure, AWS knowledge will be an added advantage
- Source code management (DevOps) knowledge will be an added advantage
- Shell and PowerShell scripting experience will be an added advantage
