The Regulatory Automation and Capabilities Modernization trainee apprentice will be responsible for supporting Product Owners and Data Architects for the finance modernization and reporting automation goals within the organization. The role will involve structured training, collaboration and opportunity to experience the dynamic world of Amex Finance and Regulatory Reporting every day.

Key responsibilities

• Support Product Owners and Data Architects in regulatory reporting automation design and implementation phases.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues related to regulatory reporting.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automated reporting processes, including system configurations, data mapping, and validation rules.
• Demonstrates ability to understand system architecture and interlinkages
• Identify opportunities to optimize and enhance existing reporting processes and workflows through automation
• Collaborate with other Finance teams / functions in gathering relevant and reliable information to meet the requirements of the role
• Support data quality checks on documents, ensuring they are complete and follow templates.
