Role : Sr Data Engineer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, including at least 2 years dedicated to the Azure ecosystem.

This role is critical for leveraging Microsoft Fabric to design, develop, and operationalize robust data pipelines, semantic models, and historical datasets.

The primary focus will be supporting audit, finance, and operational reporting across the organization, requiring close collaboration with business, audit, and BI teams to ensure data-driven decision-making, financial transparency, and audit readiness.

Job Overview & Core Responsibilities and Microsoft Fabric Development :

• Design, develop, and operationalize resilient data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric Data Pipelines and Azure Data Factory (ADF) for both batch and incremental data ingestion.
• Implement and manage Lakehouse architectures within Microsoft Fabric, leveraging formats such as Delta and Parquet for scalable data storage and processing.
• Develop sophisticated semantic models within Fabric / Power BI to support complex analytical, financial, and operational reporting needs.
• Utilize Microsoft Fabric to build and manage historical datasets critical for audit readiness and compliance requirements.
