Software Engineer (RMS)

Job descriptionBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field 6+ years of strong techno-functional experience with Oracle Retail Suite applications (RMS) In-depth knowledge of RIB architecture , Oracle Retail Sales Audit (ReSA) , Retail Price Management (RPM) Expertise in Oracle PL / SQL , Pro C , UNIX shell scripting , integration bus , and message services Experience designing and developing complex applications related to RMS Good understanding of production support and maintenance processes Experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA) Familiarity with version control systems (GIT / GitLab) TES or other job scheduler experience is a plus Experience in Agile methodologies, especially Scrum and TDD Bonus : Experience with Kafka streaming , Kubernetes , AWS / cloud infrastructure Bonus : Knowledge in event-driven design , microservices , containers , REST APIs Experience with CI / CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins , Maven , or Gradle
Key Roles and Responsibilities :
- Understand business requirements and solution approach for a wide range of business initiatives
- Create detailed technical designs to build solutions with Oracle Retail Suite
- Build, test, and deploy solutions to satisfy business requirements
- Design, develop, and test complex application software; modify and maintain existing applications based on standards
- Maintain and document interface systems; resolve database performance issues as needed
