Job Description

Bill of Quantities (BOQ) Preparation & Review

Expertise in preparing and reviewing BOQs with accuracy and compliance to project specifications, drawings, and relevant codes.

Ability to cross-check quantities against design documents, ensuring consistency and transparency in cost estimation.

Rate Analysis & Cost Estimation

Strong knowledge of analyzing construction rates based on standard schedule of rates (SOR), market trends, and resource utilization.

Skilled in deriving item-wise cost breakdowns for materials, labor, equipment, and overheads to support budgeting and tendering processes.

Report Preparation & Documentation

Proficiency in preparing technical, financial, and progress reports, including Monthly Progress Reports (MPRs), Techno-Economic Viability (TEV) reports, and due diligence documents.

Adept at presenting complex project data in a structured, clear, and lender-friendly format for decision-making.

Project Monitoring & Control

Hands-on experience in monitoring project progress against approved schedules, milestones, and budgets.

Ability to identify risks, delays, and deviations, and recommend corrective actions to stakeholders.

Knowledge of project management tools (Primavera P6 / MS Project) to track and forecast project performance.

Communication & Coordination Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with lenders, concessionaires, contractors, consultants, and authorities.

Ability to prepare professional presentations, conduct meetings, and negotiate effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Education qualification : B tech / Diploma in Civil engineering

Experience : 5+ years in highway sector
