What you will do

The Salesforce Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and solutions that meet business needs and ensuring the availability and performance of critical systems and applications. This role involves working closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to create high-quality, scalable software solutions and automating operations, monitoring system health, and responding to incidents to minimize downtime.

  • Take ownership of complex software projects from conception to deployment
  • Manage software delivery scope, risk, and timeline
  • Possesses strong rapid prototyping skills and can quickly translate concepts into working code
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
  • Contribute to both front-end and back-end development using cloud technology
  • Develop innovative solution using generative AI technologies
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and alignment to standard processes
  • Create and maintain documentation on software architecture, design, deployment, disaster recovery, and operations
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges effectively
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements
  • Work closely with product team, business team, and other partners
  • Design, develop, and implement applications and modules, including custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements
  • Analyze and understand the functional and technical requirements of applications, solutions and systems and translate them into software architecture and design specifications
  • Develop and implement unit tests, integration tests, and other testing strategies to ensure the quality of the software
  • Identify and resolve software bugs and performance issues
  • Work closely with multi-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to deliver high-quality software on time
  • Maintain detailed documentation of software designs, code, and development processes
  • Customize modules to meet specific business requirements
  • Work on integrating with other systems and platforms to ensure seamless data flow and functionality
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for applications, ensuring that they operate smoothly and efficiently

Basic Qualifications :

  • Masters degree with 4 - 6 years of experience in Computer Science, IT or related field OR
  • Bachelors degree with 6 - 8 years of experience in Computer Science, IT or related field OR
  • Diploma with 10 - 12 years of experience in Computer Science, IT or related field
  • Experience with Apex, JavaScript, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)to create scalable applications
  • Experienced in using CI / CD automation to deploy Salesforce code and configurations
  • Strong understanding of declarative tools like Flows and Process Builder
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce tools such as SOQL, SOSL, and Data Loader to query, manipulate and export data
  • (CDC) or Streaming API
  • Strong knowledge of data model design, sharing rules, and security architecture standard processes
  • Ability to train and guide junior developers in standard processes
  • Hands-on experience in testing, debugging, and validating deliverables for reliability and performance
  • Familiarity with Agile practices such as User Story Creation and, sprint planning

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with using Copado for CI / CD automations
  • Experience using AI, automation, or pioneering Salesforce tools.
  • Proficiency in data migration, modeling, and security configurations.
  • Experience in fine-tuning Salesforce orgs for scalability and speed.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific Salesforce tools like Health Cloud or Financial Services Cloud.
  • Ability to identify and resolve technical debt while designing scalable, maintainable solutions
  • Experience creating proofs of concept (PoCs) to validate new ideas or backlog items
  • Experience in DocuSign integration with salesforce, DocuSign Apex toolkit, Conga composer and Conga queries
  • Understanding on Apex / Integration design patterns standard processes to avoid hitting governor limits
  • Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture and use of Change Data Capture

    • Professional Certifications (please mention if the certification is preferred or required for the role) :

  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II
