Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• The maintenance engineer will oversee the execution of a plant maintenance program grounded in best practices from the manufacturing industry, with a focus on maintenance history and spare part management .
• They will be responsible for the maintenance of CNC, PLC, Hydraulic, Pneumatic & utility machines.
• Monitoring mean time to repair and mean time between failures will be a key aspect of their role.
• They will conduct detailed analysis of breakdown tickets and prepare root cause analysis reports along with action plans to prevent breakdowns.
• Working on industrial automation and power saving projects will also be part of their responsibilities.
• Preventive maintenance as per schedule will be performed for plant and machinery.
• They will monitor spare parts inventory and consumption, and initiate reordering when necessary.
• Maintaining safety health and environmental policies and procedures as per organization standards will be a critical aspect of their role.
• They will maintain 5S records and TPM activity.
• Communication with the production department to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas in shifts will be essential.
• Operating and training manuals for the maintenance department will be maintained and updated by them.
