Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled Dynatrace APM Engineer with hands-on experience in configuration, administration, and L2-level support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application performance monitoring, cloud environments, and automation scripting, with a focus on optimizing observability and resolving complex monitoring issues.
Key Responsibilities :
Configure and manage Dynatrace dashboards, alerting profiles, and ticketing system integrations.
Perform OneAgent and Cluster Node upgrades in Dynatrace Managed environments.
Onboard and manage OneAgents for Kubernetes and OpenShift workloads.
Set up and maintain ActiveGates, custom plugins, and synthetic monitoring configurations.
Handle SSL certificate management, port checks, firewall configurations, and connectivity troubleshooting.
Use Dynatrace for incident troubleshooting, log analysis, and root cause identification.
Create, manage, and close Dynatrace support tickets, coordinating with vendor support teams.
Implement and fine-tune Real User Monitoring (RUM) for web and mobile applications.
Manage and monitor cloud-based environments (AWS, GCP, or other platforms).
Recommend and implement improvements to monitoring configurations, dashboards, alert thresholds, and performance baselines.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python or Shell scripting for monitoring and operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience :
Proven experience with Dynatrace APM configuration and administration.
Strong understanding of application performance monitoring, infrastructure monitoring, and observability principles.
Familiarity with Kubernetes / OpenShift, ActiveGates, and synthetic monitoring setups.
Experience troubleshooting SSL, network, and connectivity issues.
Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or other major cloud platforms.
Scripting experience in Python or Shell for automation and customization.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, or similar) is a plus.
