Job Title : Applications Administrator, Endpoint Services

How will you make an impact?
Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a hard-working Applications Administrator to maintain our IT infrastructure. You will support Pharma and Biotech applications in a secure, high-performance environment.
Back scientific innovation, adhere to regulations, aid health technology advancement at Thermo Fisher.
Roles and Responsibilities
Roll out, set up, and manage scientific and business applications applied in Pharma and Biotechnology operations.
Manage application packaging, publishing, and lifecycle in the Citrix environment.
Perform application regression and compatibility testing following changes to Windows OS, Citrix infrastructure, or third-party components.
Collaborate with software vendors and internal collaborators to coordinate upgrades, patches, and validation efforts.
Ensure systems operate in compliance with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and other applicable regulatory standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient performance.
Support audit and validation activities by offering detailed evidence of system configurations, patch status, and operational procedures.
Partner with IT Security, Compliance, and Infrastructure teams to align with enterprise standards and validation processes.
Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, procedures, and operational guidelines.
Participate in incident and change management processes, contributing to service reliability and process maturity.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Overall 8+ years of IT experience, 5+ years of hands-on experience in application or system administration roles.
Hands-on experience managing Windows 10 / 11 environments and enterprise applications.
Working experience with VDI technologies (e.g., Citrix XenApp, VMware Horizon, Azure Virtual Desktop).
Demonstrated expertise in FDA-compliant systems and validated software installation procedures.
Strong understanding of GxP and CSV (Computer System Validation) compliance.
Experience in working within a regulated or life sciences environment preferred (pharma, biotech, medical devices, etc.).
FDA Audit Compliance and Documentation.
