- As an AVP, Data Modeler within Deutsche Bank's Data Governance and Architecture team for Private Bank, you will be a key driver in shaping the bank's enterprise data landscape.
- You will apply your extensive expertise (12–15 years) in data modeling and architecture to enforce data governance standards, optimize data models for regulatory reporting (e.g., Risk, Finance, Treasury), and ensure alignment with the overall enterprise data strategy.
- Your role will involve close collaboration with senior stakeholders in both the business and technology domains, focusing on leveraging data for business benefits while ensuring stringent regulatory compliance.

Own and maintain the Private Bank's contribution to the Deutsche Bank Enterprise Logical and Physical Data models, ensuring its accuracy, integrity, and usefulness for the Private Bank business.Translate the complex data requirements of group functions (Risk, Finance, Treasury, Regulatory Reporting) into robust data models, aligning data producers and consumers effectively.Act as a key liaison and subject matter expert, supporting Private Bank stakeholders and internal experts in delivering relevant data, aligning their needs with enterprise data model standards.Work directly with the Group Chief Data Office and Private Bank stakeholders to optimize requirements management, data modeling processes, and data provisioning standards.Utilize your in-depth knowledge of how data and data quality impacts processes across the retail sector to inform data modeling and provisioning, particularly for non-financial risk (NFR) reporting and control frameworks.Address the challenges of data harmonization and provisioning by designing efficient data models that simplify data flows and replace legacy point-to-point connections with standardized formats.Your skills and experience
Professional Experience : 12–15 years of overall experience, with significant time spent in data modeling and data architecture within the financial services industry, ideally with a focus on Private or Retail Banking.Domain Knowledge : In-depth understanding of financial products, processes, and the data lifecycle within the Private and / or Retail Banking sectors. Proven experience in data modeling for regulatory reporting (e.g., Risk, Finance).Modeling with UML & Object Oriented Modelling : Create and maintain robust data models using standard notations, including Unified Modeling Language (UML) Class Models for representing logical and physical data entities.Good to have Object Oriented Modelling experience.Proven expertise in relational, dimensional, and modern data modeling techniques. Experience designing for complex data structures, including multi-domain, hierarchical, and unstructured data across enterprise systems, cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS), and specialized big data environments.Extensive, hands-on experience with enterprise data architecture, including logical and physical data modeling, data governance frameworks, and harmonized data provisioning.Data Modeling Tools : Expert proficiency with data modeling tools such as PowerDesigner, ER / Studio, Erwin or similar.Exceptional project and senior stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across different functions and seniority levels.Strong understanding of database technologies (relational and cloud-based), Big Data technologies, and data integration patterns. Knowledge of XMI, XML, JSON, or similar data communication languages is an advantage.Soft Skills
