Job description

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer & Project Lead who will be responsible for designing engaging learning experiences and leading end-to-end project execution. The role combines instructional design expertise with project management and leadership skills, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality e-learning and blended learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Instructional Design :

  • Analyze training needs and audience profiles to design impactful learning solutions.
  • Develop storyboards, scripts, and design documents aligned with learning objectives.
  • Apply adult learning principles, Blooms taxonomy, and modern instructional strategies (microlearning, gamification, scenario-based learning, etc.).
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create accurate and engaging content.
  • Oversee quality checks to ensure instructional effectiveness and learner engagement.

Project Leadership :

  • Lead and manage multiple e-learning and training development projects simultaneously.
  • Prepare and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Assign tasks, guide team members (designers, developers, visual artists, etc.), and monitor progress.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients / stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure projects are delivered within scope, time, and budget.

    • Collaboration & Innovation :

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Instructional Designers, Graphic Designers, E-Learning Developers, SMEs).
  • Ensure effective communication and smooth workflow across teams.
  • Research and recommend innovative tools, methods, and technologies to improve training effectiveness.

    • Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • 46 years of proven experience in Instructional Design and eLearning project execution.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning theories, ADDIE / SAM models, and modern learning trends.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Rise, etc.).
  • Experience in leading teams and managing client-facing projects.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on time.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM / xAPI standards.
  • Exposure to project management methodologies (Agile, PMP, or Prince2 is a plus).
  • Background in corporate training, digital learning, or consulting.
