Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer & Project Lead who will be responsible for designing engaging learning experiences and leading end-to-end project execution. The role combines instructional design expertise with project management and leadership skills, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality e-learning and blended learning solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
Instructional Design :
- Analyze training needs and audience profiles to design impactful learning solutions.
- Develop storyboards, scripts, and design documents aligned with learning objectives.
- Apply adult learning principles, Blooms taxonomy, and modern instructional strategies (microlearning, gamification, scenario-based learning, etc.).
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create accurate and engaging content.
- Oversee quality checks to ensure instructional effectiveness and learner engagement.
Project Leadership :
Lead and manage multiple e-learning and training development projects simultaneously.Prepare and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables.Assign tasks, guide team members (designers, developers, visual artists, etc.), and monitor progress.Serve as the main point of contact for clients / stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals.Mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure projects are delivered within scope, time, and budget.Collaboration & Innovation :
Work closely with cross-functional teams (Instructional Designers, Graphic Designers, E-Learning Developers, SMEs).Ensure effective communication and smooth workflow across teams.Research and recommend innovative tools, methods, and technologies to improve training effectiveness.Required Skills & Qualifications :
46 years of proven experience in Instructional Design and eLearning project execution.Strong knowledge of adult learning theories, ADDIE / SAM models, and modern learning trends.Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Rise, etc.).Experience in leading teams and managing client-facing projects.Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on time.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM / xAPI standards.Exposure to project management methodologies (Agile, PMP, or Prince2 is a plus).Background in corporate training, digital learning, or consulting.(ref : hirist.tech)
