Job descriptionCompleted Bachelor’s degree or diploma (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Software Architecture preferred; candidates with substantial and relevant industry experience are also eligible 10+ years of hands-on engineering experience Ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Java based technology space Knowledge on CI / CD principals Good knowledge and working experience in Agile methodology and familiar with tools like Jira and Confluence Design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade Java applications with a focus on performance and scalability. Architect and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot for high-availability systems. Support the design, deployment, and integration of distributed microservice architectures. Architect and manage secure, cost-optimized AWS (or any other cloud) solutions leveraging native services. Build and maintain high-throughput event streaming pipelines using Apache Kafka. Deploy, scale, and monitor containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker in production environments. Take part in Agile ceremonies Curious mindset that drives to dig deeper into why things work a certain way Transparency and clarity in communications Self-starter able to work autonomously once you’ve grasped the objectives Ability to handle ambiguity in a pragmatic way, looking for solutions rather than reiterating problems Commitment to learning, especially on technical details of technologies High level of accountability in being the owner of your domain
