Greetings from TCS !!!TCS is hiring for Generative AI Developer - AzureJob Title : Generative AI Developer (Azure)Experience - 10-16 yearsLocation - PAN IndiaRole OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Generative AI Developer with strong expertise in Azure cloud, Python programming, and hands-on experience building LLM-based applications. The ideal candidate will have practical knowledge of Prompt Engineering, Fine-Tuning, RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) architectures, LangChain frameworks, and Agentic AI systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable AI-powered solutions that drive innovation and business impact.Key ResponsibilitiesAI / LLM DevelopmentBuild, customize, and deploy Generative AI models on Azure AI / ML ecosystem (Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, Cognitive Search).Develop RAG-based solutions using vector databases and enterprise knowledge bases for context-enriched AI responses.Implement Agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar) for reasoning, orchestration, and multi-step task execution.Conduct model fine-tuning (LoRA, PEFT, domain-specific training) for enterprise and industry-focused use cases.Prompt Engineering & OptimizationDesign and optimize prompts for high accuracy, consistency, and cost efficiency.Establish prompt libraries and reusable templates for multiple business scenarios.Evaluate LLM responses and continuously refine prompt strategies.Programming & AutomationDevelop scalable, production-ready AI solutions in Python using frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain.Integrate Generative AI models into enterprise workflows, APIs, and applications.Build CI / CD pipelines for AI workloads on Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.Apply DataOps / MLOps best practices for monitoring, retraining, and deployment automation.Collaboration & GovernanceWork closely with cloud architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth integration.Ensure compliance with AI ethics, data privacy, and governance policies.Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers in AI best practices.Required Skills & ExperienceExcellent knowledge of Azure cloud services (Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure ML, Azure Data Lake, Azure Cognitive Search).Strong Python programming expertise with AI / ML libraries (PyTorch, Hugging Face, Transformers).Proven hands-on experience in Generative AI, including model training, deployment, and evaluation.Expertise in Prompt Engineering and Prompt Optimization.Strong knowledge of RAG architecture and vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, Milvus, Azure Cognitive Search).Familiarity with LangChain or other orchestration frameworks for building LLM-powered apps.Experience with Agentic frameworks for autonomous AI systems.Knowledge of CI / CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and MLOps practices.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.Cloud certifications such as Microsoft Certified : Azure AI Engineer Associate or Azure Data Scientist Associate.Experience in multimodal AI (image, speech, video generation) is a plus.Familiarity with other cloud AI platforms (AWS, GCP) for multi-cloud environments.
