Job Title : Platform Manager

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Platform Manager to lead our DevOps, Cloud, and Infrastructure initiatives across global teams.

This role requires a seasoned professional with deep technical expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, CI / CD automation, and infrastructure-as-code, coupled with proven leadership experience in managing distributed or offshore engineering teams.

As the Platform Manager, you will be responsible for designing and scaling robust, secure, and automated cloud platforms that enable efficient software delivery and operational excellence.

You'll collaborate closely with engineering, security, and IT stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives, streamline infrastructure processes, and ensure system reliability at scale.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and mentor a team of DevOps and Cloud Engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Architect, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable platforms using AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, IAM) and Kubernetes / OpenShift.
  • Oversee CI / CD pipeline development and maintenance using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Harness.
  • Ensure secure and efficient integration of infrastructure and application delivery pipelines.
  • Drive infrastructure automation initiatives using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Manage and optimize cloud cost, performance, and security compliance across environments.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define platform strategy, standardize best practices, and implement robust monitoring and observability.
  • Integrate and support ServiceNow ITSM modules for incident, change, and problem management.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment between platform capabilities and business objectives.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews to strengthen system reliability and resilience.

Must Have Qualifications :

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles.
  • 3+ years in a leadership or management capacity, with experience managing offshore or distributed teams.
  • Strong expertise in AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, IAM) and Kubernetes / OpenShift for container orchestration and platform management.
  • Proven experience implementing and maintaining CI / CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, or Harness.
  • Solid understanding of networking, IAM, and infrastructure automation (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM modules and ITIL-aligned service processes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.)
  • Exposure to security automation, DevSecOps, or compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC2, CIS).
  • Background in financial services, SaaS, or enterprise platform environments.
  • AWS or Kubernetes certifications (e., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA / CKAD) are a strong plus
