About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Lead Software Developer to architect and drive the development of mission-critical software systems for advanced defense applications. You will lead a team of 3–4 junior engineers, translating complex application-level requirements into robust, scalable software architectures. Your work will directly support systems such as Electronic Warfare (EW) receivers, radar displays, and RF emitter detection and classification platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• System Architecture & Design
• Translate application-level requirements into detailed Software Requirement Specifications (SRS)
• Architect full-stack software systems for defense-grade applications
• Define software interfaces with hardware subsystems including RF receivers, FPGAs, and signal processors
• Team Leadership
• Guide and mentor a team of junior developers through the full software development lifecycle
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure timely delivery of milestones
• Implementation & Integration
• Oversee development of front-end and back-end components
• Ensure seamless integration with hardware systems and real-time data pipelines
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to align software behavior with system-level performance goals
