Job descriptionBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field 8-13 years of experience in software development with a focus on Big Data technologies Strong experience with Hadoop ecosystem components such as HDFS, MapReduce, YARN, Hive, Pig, and Spark Experience with Hadoop distribution systems such as Cloudera, Hortonworks, or MapR Strong programming skills in Java, Scala, or Python Experience with data modeling and schema design Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as HBase, Cassandra, or MongoDB Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience in Agile development methodologies is a plus
Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Hadoop Developer with 8-13 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software development and experience in Big Data technologies, specifically Hadoop. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing complex Hadoop-based solutions to meet our business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement complex Hadoop-based solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve Hadoop-related issues
- Optimize and tune Hadoop environments for maximum performance
- Create and maintain documentation related to Hadoop environments and solutions
- Provide technical guidance to other team members
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
