Teamware Solutions is seeking a proficient Teradata Specialist to manage, develop, and optimize our data warehousing solutions. This role is crucial for ensuring the performance, reliability, and scalability of our Teradata environment, supporting critical business intelligence and data analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Database Administration & Management : Perform comprehensive administration, monitoring, and maintenance of Teradata databases to ensure optimal performance, availability, and stability.
• Performance Tuning & Optimization : Analyze and tune complex Teradata queries, ETL processes, and database structures to improve performance and efficiency.
• ETL Development & Support : Develop, implement, and support ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data ingestion into and extraction from the Teradata warehouse.
• Data Modeling : Assist in logical and physical data modeling for new and existing Teradata data warehouse components.
• Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution : Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to the Teradata environment, including performance bottlenecks, data discrepancies, and system failures.
• Backup & Recovery : Implement and manage Teradata backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
• Security & Access Control : Implement and maintain robust security measures and access controls within the Teradata environment.
• Reporting & Analytics Support : Provide support for reporting and analytical tools integrating with Teradata, ensuring data accessibility and accuracy for end-users.
• Documentation : Create and maintain detailed documentation for database configurations, processes, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.
• Collaboration : Work closely with data architects, ETL developers, BI analysts, and other IT teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
