Job description

Teamwork & Collaboration :

  • Work autonomously within the customer environment, take initiative and suggest effective solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the French team, participating in daily scrums and providing regular updates.

Customer Support :

  • Analyze customer requests (customers are OEM / Tier1 suppliers and research institutes) for support related to SCANeR simulation environment : vehicle dynamics, ADAS, scenario creation.
  • Provide on-site assistance to customers when required.
  • Conduct follow-up meetings and provide customer training, onsite or remotely.
  • Model Development & Simulation :

  • Design and develop simulation models & scenarios as part of a project team.
  • Create and qualify dynamic vehicle models, ADAS systems (AEB, LKA) for simulation purposes.
  • Quality, Compliance & project management :

  • Adhere to all Sogeclair India policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Manage work assignments, productivity, and quality in line with Sogeclair India goals.
  • Ensure efficient and economical performance within budget constraints.
  • Ensure timely delivery of individual assignments and effective time utilization.
  • Requirements

  • Preferred - MTech Engineering, focus on Control systems, Mechatronics
  • Required - BTech Engineering, focus on Control systems, Mechatronics
  • Educational background from IIT or a reputed NIT / University shall be preferred
  • Overall experience of 5+ Years in Automotive Domain
  • Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Controls, Automotive, or related Engineering.

    Experience : Minimum 5 years of professional experience in vehicle dynamics or ADAS systems, ideally within an OEM or Tier 1 supplier environment.

    Technical Expertise :

  • Automotive Engineering : Comprehensive understanding of chassis and powertrain mechatronics architectures, ADAS systems, and MiL / SiL / HiL / ViL validation pipeline
  • Knowledge and understanding of sensors models (RADAR, Camera…)  and communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, UDP)
  • Simulation : Strong proficiency in MATLAB / Simulink. knowledge of FMI / FMU standards and experience with simulation tools.
  • Programming : Knowledge of Windows / Linux environments, basic scripting and development skills in Python and C++
  • Soft Skills :

  • Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues and customers worldwide.
