Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage and strengthen our financial operations. The role is ideal for professionals who have hands-on experience in end-to-end accounting, compliance, and financial reporting, and who can deliver accurate insights to support business decisions.

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial integrity, ensuring statutory compliance, preparing financial statements, and supporting management with data-driven analysis to improve profitability and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & MIS

• Prepare, review, and analyze Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
• Generate periodic MIS reports, budgets, and financial forecasts.
• Monitor financial performance and highlight variances against budgets and projections.

Compliance & Taxation

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, statutory laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Compute and file GST, TDS, and other applicable tax returns within timelines.
• Coordinate with tax consultants, auditors, and regulatory authorities when required.

Accounts Management

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and record daily financial transactions.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing and follow-ups.
• Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and payroll processing.

Financial Analysis & Business Support

• Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities, risks, and revenue improvements.
• Support management with actionable insights for better financial planning and decision-making.
• Assist in improving internal controls and accounting processes.

Auditing & Documentation

• Maintain proper documentation and financial records for audits.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
• Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of accounting systems.

Daily / Weekly / Monthly Activities

Daily:

• Record accounting entries and review transactions
• Track AP/AR and cash flow movements

Weekly:

• Bank and ledger reconciliations
• Follow-ups on outstanding payments and invoices

Monthly:

• Finalization of financial statements
• Payroll processing and statutory filings
• MIS reporting and management reviews

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• High integrity and ability to work closely with management and auditors

Candidate Profile

• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience
• Candidates available to join immediately will be given preference
