Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Architect at Chlorophyll Concepts in Navi Mumbai. We seek a passionate designer who is willing to dive into the dynamic world of small scale residential and institutional architecture from start to end, right from the drawing board to the nuances of site execution. We seek people who are willing to explore, research and ideate in the collaborative environment of a small studio. The Junior Architect will be responsible for architectural design, project management and collaboration with the design team. The role will involve day-to-day tasks such as developing architectural plans, creating design concepts, coordinating with contractors and suppliers, and ensuring design compliance with building codes and regulations.

Qualifications

Strong architectural design and project management skills

Experience in software development and integration

Knowledge of sustainable design principles and practices

Proficiency in relevant design software and tools such as Autocad, Sketchup and Enscape

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with proficiency in Office 365 for quick estimation

Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to manage contractors and vendors

Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines

Bachelor's degree in Architecture

Experience in the construction industry is a plus

The technical skills required for the position are proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup and Enscape, along with a sound grip on Office 365 Apps for tasks like BOQs and presentation making. Candidates should be able to understand details, visualise spaces in 3D and have excellent communication skills to deal with vendors and contractors.
