Engineer / Senior Engineer - Applications
To support sales team in providing technical proposals for engineered solutions (package).
To ensure adherence to relevant engineering practices applicable for Steam solutions.
To ensure relevant regulatory & compliance requirements for the products / package solutions (Indian boiler regulations (IBR), ASME, ISO, etc).
To prepare CAD drawings, Bill of materials, Cost estimations, IBR design dossiers and support with technical proposals.
To liaise with central design teams in aligning with group guidelines for package solutions design and obtain quotations where applicable.
To maintain project track records and communications for audit purposes.
To liaise with / identify suppliers and develop new products / solutions as applicable.
To support on new product developments, prove out and launch to the market.
Review of customer specifications, product sizing / selection, preparation of P&ID, Bill of materials, cost estimation and support with techno commercial proposal to sales team.
To maintain project details / records and to support for audits (ISO / Internal / External).
To do post order detailed engineering, release of manufacturing deliverables (BOM / GAD / Fab drg) & support manufacturing team during fabrication activities.
On time release of error free Manufacturing drawings / documents to Manufacturing team.
To prepare IBR design dossiers & liaise with IBR authorities for approvals and maintain IBR records.
To maintain all engineered solutions project records / drawings / documents in PDM / PLM.
To support on new product design & development, testing and prove out till product launch.
To liaise with suppliers for quotations / new development activities.
To provide technical support / guidance to sales team in resolving the customer complaints via Telephone / Teams / video calls or personal visits.
Visit customer sites where required for product promotions / training / commissioning supports.
To actively support on cost optimization projects and continuous improvement projects
/ / Diploma or equivalent technical qualification.
Good verbal and written English communication skills.
