Senior Jira Administrator - Configuration & Customization

Key Responsibilities :

• Administer and maintain Jira environments, ensuring optimal configuration and customization.
• Design, develop, and implement Jira workflows, schemes, custom fields, and permissions tailored to business needs.
• Utilize Jira scripting and REST APIs to automate processes and integrate Jira with other tools.
• Develop, manage, and troubleshoot Jira plugins and add-ons to extend Jira capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver Jira solutions.
• Provide expertise in Jira Service Management and Confluence integration to streamline ITSM processes (preferred).
• Monitor and resolve Jira-related issues promptly, ensuring system reliability and performance.
• Document Jira configurations, processes, and best practices for internal Skills & Qualifications :
• 9+ years of hands-on experience with Jira administration.
• Proven expertise in Jira configuration, customization, and workflow design.
• Strong experience with Jira scripting (Groovy, ScriptRunner, or equivalent) and REST APIs.
• Proficient in developing and managing Jira plugins / add-ons.
• Familiarity with Jira Service Management and Confluence integration is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with Qualifications :
• Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies and supporting tools.
• Knowledge of other Atlassian products and integrations.
